NLA Herren v Pythons Kriens

The team from Kriens was rather subdued, starting with Roman Allinckx who really couldn't find any answers to a very strong Reiko Peter, who almost played the perfect match, only giving up 2 points in the whole match. Reiko Peter v Roman Allinckx 11-1, 11-0, 11-1

Mark Woodliffe v Pascal Bruhin looked to be slightly more contested, but it was never in doubt that Mark was going to give us a point, moving Pascal around really well and taking his chances when they arose.  Only in the middle of the third he let Pascal get ahead by a couple of points, but decided he wasn’t going to have any of this, and put together some good rallies, taking the third and the match 11-4, 11-4, 11-7

The match between Paul v Christoph really shouldn’t have been played as Christoph was clearly injured and couldn’t run at all, but he showed great sportsmanship and let Paul take the win, rather than to retire. Paul Steel v Christoph Zust 11-2, 11-2, 11-1

It might have seemed a little closer in the match of Mäsi v Mario, but after the first game which went 11-6 to Mäsi, Mario just could’t handle what was thrown at him and only made one more point in the next two games. Marcel Straub v Mario Tschopp 11-6, 11-0, 11-2

Happy with another good win and helped by the other teams, we are finishing the pre-season at the top of the leaderboard!
